Day 2 - Sunday, July 13, 2014

Ephesians 3:20-21

20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

 Más is the Spanish word for more!  And it is the theme for Yugo ministries this year.  Yugo is the organization we are serving with this year, and served with last year as well.  Yugo is a great ministry and if you want to know more visit their web site at www.yugo.org/eoc

This year from June to August they will host groups like ours and buils 105 houses for families who have none.  This particular week there are 3 groups from Virginia, one from Oregon, and our Calvary group; together we will build 8 houses!  God is good!

So this morning we got up, packed up, went to a park and got prayed up and then worshipped up!  We took a group photo and then headed for the boarder.  We had no problems or hassles and all 7 vehicles made it through the boarder in less than 6 minutes.

Next we began the journey down highway 1 toward Ensenada.  It was foggy most of the way and as you can see, our convoy took up a lot of space on the highway.

Three hours later we arrived at our favorite roadside taco stand.  We ate 149 fresh made tacos, each had a drink for 48 people and the bill was only $248 dollars.  The food there is amazing!  You can see some of our smiles in the photo below!

After a late lunch we drove to Yugo's ministry site, met our host Sarah and Rhonda (both serving full time as missionaries from Canada).  We un packed and un loaded the vehicles in record setting time.  Settled in and got the lay of the land.  

Next we got to meet the two families we are building houses for.  We met the Gregorio Family of five and the Vasquez family of 13.  We introduced ourselves and found the native language of smiles hugs and Jèsu Cristo is a language we all can speak.  After meeting them, we went to supper together and below is a picture of us eating with the Vasquez family.

After supper we had orientation and a heart felt time of worship.  Lights out was at 10 as we have a full day tomorrow of construction and VBS!

Keep praying!  We have already seen God's clear answer to many prayers!
